Slow news day …

Yup, as the title suggests, I don’t have much of interest to say today. Probably the best thing is :

I have found my sewing Mojo!!! πŸ˜€
… but now I have a heap of things that have to be done ‘before’ I can play 😦 I am itching to get back into it! Its sitting on the table calling me! πŸ™‚
We have a pupil-free day here and I usually enjoy them, because like today, we have PJ days on pupil-free days! Today tho, the boys are driving me batshit crazy! They just wont stop fighting! Definitely a Manic Mumday even tho nothing much is really going on πŸ™‚

The second best thing today is that I have the night off – and I am going to SEW!! Yayy me!
These are the half done projects calling me :

I am going to follow along with one of my favourite blogs,Β Fat Mum Slim’s Photo-A-Day in November. I have done it a few times but just ran out of puff (and fresh ideas) so didn’t participate this month. I am ready and raring to go for the next round tho.

In other news, I am again attempting to quit one of my favourite vices.
I am giving up Diet Coke. *insert devastated face*
My absolute all time favourite drink!
I have finally been convinced of its badness and we are parting ways.
We have been together for decades and I sure will miss it, but the time has come.
I am getting healthy in other areas of my life and this old devil must go too.

  1. Yay for sewing mojo! I am hoping mine comes back in the next few days because I have so much to get done.

    My vice I am going to have to give up soon is bread. Fresh bread omg, I have stalled on the weightloss front a bit and have started eating a bit more then usual so I am thinking I might give up 2 of my 4 slices a day and either have honey toast for breakfast and corn thins for lunch or cereal for breakfast and sandwich for lunch.
    I did just have to stop having sugar in my coffee a month ago as I realised I was having 6 teaspoons of sugar a day just from those. 😐

  2. oooooooh yes! BREAD!!! A vice of mine too!! I loooove bread! Before my lifestyle change I easily could have eaten it at every meal! (didnt but could have πŸ˜‰ ) Multigrain at least, but still an evil vice! I have given up 2 of my 4 slices this week too Hayley. I am now having a salad in a bowl for lunch instead of between bread … and I limit myself to 1 coffee a day now for the sugar reason too πŸ™‚
