Tula Pink Charm Swap ~ Quilt Along

Towards the end of last year I participated in the Tula Pink Charm Swap run by the fabulous Ms Midge.
OMG!!! They are so pretty!
After each Charm Swap there is a Charm Along!
And here is my contribution :IMG_8088 (2)It’s only the top right now, but I have a backing in the works and will keep going til it’s done – I’m determined not to add it to my UFO pile 😉
It is 49″ x 74″ { 125cm x 188cm}
It would make a gorgeous single bed quilt but since I don’t have a single bed to use it on, {except the boys and they won’t part with their Batman quilts for a girly one! haha} I think it’ll make a nice sized throw or couch quilt for meeeee!.

I am also pledging to get cracking on the aforementioned UFO pile! There are a couple of half {or more} done pieces, so I am going to keep plodding along and get some finished soon 🙂

I’ll endeavour to get my holiday pics up soon – we had a fantastic time staying at Manly Beach, Sydney!! And hubby was very surprised 🙂

Oh dear 😔 My computer has a few problems and I can’t use it – I am doing this on my phone and hope to God it works out … I will take it into my computer guru to work his magic tomorrow and fingers X’d it’s back by the time we are home *sigh*

I had a lovely evening out with one of my favourite friends tonight!
I am so thankful for some of the people in my life!
This was Suzie and I on Christmas Day 🙂
Kate n SuzeIt feels like we’ve been friends forever! And she is the kind of friend that we can talk daily or not for weeks or even months and things flow and are comfortable and we pick up exactly where we left off. I am lucky enough to have a couple of these kind of special friends in my life ❤

Well … It’s official!! I’m on holidays!
2 weeks off and soooo looking forward to it, my positivity cup runneth over haha

We fly out in a couple of days and I am already in laid back, holiday mode … better get into packing mode soon or we’ll be taking nothing haha

oh dear … I didn’t get round to posting the lucky 13th post! oops!!

Oh well … I assure you I remained positive and had a fantastic day! 😀

I had an early start this morning {and again tomorrow} and finished at lunch time. Then I had a relaxing afternoon catching up on my favourite magazine!
365P 14Tomorrow is my last shift before our holiday and all up I will be having two whole weeks off!!!! squeeeeee!!365P 14 2CAN.NOT.WAIT!!

Hmmmm I had a wonderful afternoon at work today, so I am feeling in a pretty positive mood already! I had my appraisal and all was very positive. It was busy and I had a couple of favourite customers in … and I guess it really helps that we have a holiday looming! 😀
365P 12It is Mr Manic’s 50th birthday next week {I know – ancient hey?!} and he doesn’t know where we are going … I am sooooo looking forward to this getaway!

I didn’t send this properly it seems so you’ll be getting this on Tuesday instead of Monday … ooops!
We are so lucky to have found the perfect furbaby for our family! He comes in the form of a Lab x Golden Retriever who at 3 is still a big puppy … But we love him immensely! He fits right in with us and for the most part is a good boy 🙂

Well, I had another long day at work today and I am so thankful to be off my feet! Tomorrow off then 4 shifts til I am on holliiiidaaaysssssss!! 😀

We had rain today!! Big, fat, juicy, delicious drops falling from heaven! We so need it, it’s been too far between rain this last year or two! I felt like running out and dancing in it and I am praying for lots, lots more 🙂

I forgot to post this last night … I was totally wrecked after work.
Off to it again in 5 mins, so this’ll be quick 🙂
Here is my three65positive from yesterday -I was worried about my last assignment for my Interior Design course but I received my mark yesterday and I got 90%!!! Very happy with that 🙂

There’s nothing better than a pyjama day to clear the mind!
This is how I spent a lot of today.
365P 8Sure, I did a little housework, as you can see there is a pile of folding half done in the background and I vacuumed and mopped while the boys were out this morning. But on the whole it was a lazy, comfy day and I enjoyed it immensely! I am now all recharged and ready for a huge weekend at work 🙂
